It was only after I arrived in Nashville in 1970 as a single mother of three sons that my life started to turn around in dramatic ways. Through my work as development director at WPLN, I met Noah Liff, whom I married in 1986. He was a very kind, energetic, generous, successful, interesting man who loved the arts and opera in particular.

After he was diagnosed with cancer in early 2001 he had an impossible dream that he was afraid would never come true–"to hear for one last time a beautiful opera and get lost in it and not think about anything else that is going on in our lives right now." I just told him "All things are possible." In a few short weeks we were watching a spectacular performance of Pavarotti in Aida from the front row of the Metropolitan Opera in New York City! It's a wonderful memory for me. It was our last date.

That’s just one of my “anything is possible” stories, and believe me, there’s a lot more. My hope is to inspire you to overcome the obstacles in your way so you can write your own “anything is possible” story.

What they're saying

Jennifer P, Brentwood TN

Jay L., Germantown Nashville TN

"I'm serious about aesthetics, quality and attention to detail. The Lux team delivered above and beyond on all counts. I honestly don't know how I've lived without these lights until now!"

Design Gods

Jane F, Belle Meade Nashville TN

"I was really caught in the middle. You know, I hated how my room looked so same old same old boring. But I was dreading all the work that goes into a remodel, especially finding workers who actually show up and do what they say they'll do. Sounds simple, but it's not. With Lux it is!"

Elastic Themes

Chris C., Green Hills Nashville TN

"My light art truly fills the entire room with spectacular color. Colors are bright and vibrant, filling up a dark room with pretty much every combination or hue you can think of. I especially like the scenes that have a "breathing" like effect, which just looks so pleasant in the background throughout the rooms in my home."
